LEAPS are stock options with a year or more to expiry, so each is listed once it expires or its option reaches the stop in the alert, with the best price it reached before expiring.
Recorded performance data is strictly educational and shows the alert price versus the max return reached. “Profitable” means the price rose above the alert price at some point after the alert, not that a trade was closed at a profit. Updated nightly. Latest alert: . 34 of the results come from market data. Each LEAPS trade’s max is the higher of the best price posted in Slack and the highest price its option traded at (Yahoo Finance daily prices), from the day after the alert to its expiration. A trade is listed once it expires or its option trades at or below the stop in the alert, and its max can still rise until it expires. One with no price at all, posted or traded, counts at the stop.
